Check out Fly Ocean Air and Find815. These sites are relatively new and have some very interesting stuff in them. One more week till Season 4 premiere. Let the countdown begin!
It's been snowing like crazy over here since the past two days. Great time for some winter photography. But I don't know if I'll go. It's too cold. Argh. >_<
The title says it all. Things can look ugly. =P
I've been wanting a laptop for almost six months now. I was really tempted to buy a MacBook Pro but it's a little too expensive for me. So I waited. I waited six months for MacWorld hoping that Apple would refresh the whole MacBook lineup and they didn't. Gawsh. Instead, they introduced a new laptop known as the MacBook Air.
Design wise, it's a beauty. Sexy simplistic design. Love the aluminum finish to it. Backlit keyboard is always nice. The Remote Disc feature seems neat. Multi-touch trackpad as I had imagined. But I don't see who they are targeting for with this new product. It's just super slim. It has a 13.3 inch screen and I don't think you can classify it as ultraportable. I thought that it was a let down, specs and price wise. Apple has surely set a standard for slim laptops for sure though. We'll be seeing many like these in the future.
For almost same amount of price and better specs, you can get the black MacBook after you upgrade its RAM to 2GB along with the 3 year extended warranty. Yeah, I really want that and I'm leaning towards it at the moment. Enough waiting. Of course I'll be pissed if the new MacBooks come out 3-4 months from now. =P
But whatever. I need a laptop for school and for all my art, design and photography needs. I'm stuck with an old Sony VAIO desktop with 256MB RAM. Heh. I'm trying to sell it. I don't think anyone is going to buy it though. But do you guys think it's a good deal? I need something small and light. 13 inch screen is fine with me. Maybe I can buy a separate monitor later on to accompany it; you know, just for graphics work you tend to need more space on screen.
I know I don't have a lot of readers on my blog yet but any type of suggestions are welcome.
Update: I think I am going to wait on this, yet again.
Out this Friday! Currently sitting at 77% at Rotten Tomatoes and the users rating is way lower than that.
Hmm. I think I'll be seeing this on Saturday.
Yup, I'm back for good. It's all gooood as Michael Scott would say. It's time to start blogging again. I'm excited. It's been almost a year since I last blogged about anything. Why was I missing for so long? Well, I switched hosts and had to transfer my database which never really happened and still didn't due it's humongous size. So I was like screw it, what the heck -- let's just have a fresh start in '08. It would've been fun to read my old posts though.
Anyways, a lot has happened in the past year or so. Yours truly graduated from high school and is currently attending University of Calgary. It's been fun and exciting so far. I like it, although my first semester didn't go that well mainly because I was still in "high school" mode. It was a little tough to adjust but it's getting better. It's all going to change in the second semester. I'm really looking forward to my courses and I'm going to try really hard this time.
I will be changing the appearance of the blog, slowly. I'll start working on it this weekend. I'll probably modify this template. It will have a design similar to the main page of the Xeenat network.
Erm, that should be it for now. Time to watch some TV!
